Inis Sionnaigh / Inishinny Island

Visit this quiet island, with a single privately owned traditional Irish cottage and you might have a chance to sign the world renowned visitors book!
These houses were once all thatched.
Joe Mulligan, a gentleman and local landowner, spends his summers in here. Inis Sionnaigh has idyllic white sandy beaches, perfect for picnics and swimming.
Inis Sionnaigh translates directly from Irish to Fox Island. This is one of my personal favourite places on earth.
